Recipe - Golden Latte (warm turmeric mylk)

Golden Latte or Warm Turmeric Mylk


2 ground cardamon pods (I like to grind these up to let even more flavour out)

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground turmeric powder

grated fresh ginger root (to taste)optional

1/2 tsp maple syrup (you are following one of my programmes maple syrup is an option for you only after week 6 )

home-made cashew mylk (see cashew milk recipe post)

Place all ingredients in a saucepan (if you have time let the flavours infuse for 30 minutes or so) and warm slowly on a low heat whilst whisking to make sure of no lumpy bits.  Do not let it boil. Use a tea strainer to leave out the bits’n’pieces.
